Jazz music is always developing. Jazz musicians are developing also, some as a result of changing fads and others by osmosis from the other musicians around them. It was this osmosis. This website is designed to be searched. You can search for all Jazz Musicians by name and see which albums they have performed on and the other jazz musicians that they have worked with.

Hi VirgilJazz,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments, I'm about 1/4 way through listing my entire collection. Sorry no plans for downloads as licences are to financial restrictive.
I know most of this records very well as I've been collecting jazz records from the 60's .Also, as I've not everything in my collection, would like to know if there's a way to download any of the records you've posted, or if there'll be any way to do so in the future. And your collection is really quite large, as it seems. You may know that the great Jelly Roll morton said that jazz should be played wit "a spanish tinge" so when you tell us about the stunning combination that jazz and spanish wine can be, that really seems to make sense in some way. Hope you may be so kind to tell me something about my question about the downloading. Best regards,
ReplyDeleteNestor
